Lucknow. Tektro Reserve and Falcon Club won their matches in the Lucknow District Football League played at Chowk Stadium on Sunday. Tektro Reserves beat Sports College 2-0
In the first match, Tektro Reserve defeated Sports College 2-0. From the start of the match, Tektro Reserve’s players played aggressively. Prabho gave the team the lead with a goal in the 15th minute. Sports College then made several attempts to equalize, but Tektro Reserve’s strong defense thwarted their attacks. Prabho scored the second goal in the 45th minute, sealing the team’s victory.
Falcon Club won 1-0
In the second match, Falcon Club defeated Ex-Students Men’s United Club 1-0. Falcon’s Javed scored in the third minute of the match to give the team an early lead. Ex-Students Men’s United then launched repeated attacks, but Falcon’s goalkeeper and defense made superb saves, denying the opposition a chance to score. Falcon Club won the match with a clean sheet.
The first semi-final will be held on Monday
