Moto Pad 70 launched for Rs 33,999, 10,200mAh battery and 2.5K display grab attention

Motorola has launched its new tablet, the Moto Pad 70, in the Indian market . The company has introduced it with a large battery, a high-resolution display, and powerful audio. Notably, the tablet also comes bundled with the Moto Pen and Moto Folio Keyboard. The Moto Pad 70 is priced at ₹33,999 and will go on sale starting August 15th. This tablet can be used for studies, office work, note-taking, and entertainment. The Moto Pad 70 has been launched in India in two storage variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹33,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will be available for ₹36,999. It will be available for sale starting August 15th through Flipkart and the Motorola India website. The company has introduced the tablet in Pantone Sea Angel color. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. It features 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Speaking of the display, the Moto Pad 70 features a 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS touchscreen. Its resolution is 1600×2560 pixels and it supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen offers 96 percent DCI-P3 color coverage. Its typical brightness is 600 nits and up to 800 nits in HBM mode. The display has also received flicker-free and low blue light certification from TUV Rheinland. For performance, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor. For graphics, it has an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Moto Pad 70 runs on Android 16, and the company has promised to provide OS updates until Android 18. The tablet will also receive security updates until 2030. With this extended software support, the company is trying to make it attractive to long-term users. The Moto Pad 70 is quite powerful in terms of battery life. It features a large 10,200mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. The company also provides a 68W power adapter in the box. The large battery can help you watch videos, attend online classes, play games, or work on the tablet for extended periods of time.

In terms of camera, the Moto Pad 70 features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. For audio, it has a quad-speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos. It also has a dual microphone system. The company has also included AI features like Circle to Search, AI Summary, and AI Continue Writing, along with Gemini integration. For connectivity, the Moto Pad 70 comes with 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, and a Pogo-pin connector. The included Moto Pen has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt detection, and palm rejection. The Moto Folio Keyboard can also be used for typing and office work. The tablet weighs approximately 530 grams and is IP52 rated.
