Youths holding ITI diplomas have an opportunity for employment in Dubai. Chandramohan Sharma, a social worker from Sarkaghat in Mandi district, has taken the initiative to facilitate employment for 1,200 youths with the Dubai-based company 'Luxriz Building Contracting'. To this end, the company will conduct interviews in Sarkaghat on August 14.
According to the details, the 1,200 vacancies to be filled include: 180 plumbers, 212 electricians, 112 ductmen, 60 CHW (Chilled Water) pipe fitters, 170 steel fixers, 140 shuttering carpenters, 70 all-rounder masons, 26 scaffolders, 10 foremen (steel, general, civil finishing), 10 foremen (plumbing, ducting, chilled water), and 210 civil helpers. ITI diploma holders can participate in the interviews by visiting Sarkaghat on August 14 with their documents. Selected youths will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹28,000 to ₹1,10,000 for an 8-hour shift, with additional payment for two hours of overtime. The company will provide facilities such as accommodation, transportation, and medical care. Regarding age eligibility, youths between 22 and 45 years of age are eligible, and possessing a passport is mandatory.
Social worker Chandramohan Sharma stated that many youths from the region are already employed by this company, and efforts are now being made to provide similar opportunities to others. He noted that many youths are forced to work in unrelated fields after completing their ITI training because they fail to find suitable employment; this initiative aims to guide them in the right direction.
The company will conduct the interviews in Sarkaghat on August 14. He has called upon the youth to participate in this interview in large numbers. Recently, he also organized a government camp to assist young people in obtaining passports, which was attended by nearly a thousand youths.
