While caring for the face, we often forget to pay attention to hands and feet. Due to continuous exposure to dust, dirt and pollution, the skin of hands and feet becomes dry, lifeless and hard. It is not always possible to go to a parlor to get expensive manicure and pedicure done, because it costs both time and money. You can make your hands and feet soft and shiny at home with the help of common kitchen items and basic grooming tools.

2. Soak in lukewarm water: Take a tub with as warm water as you can tolerate. Mix a little shampoo, 1 teaspoon salt or baking soda and lemon juice in it. Soak your hands and feet in this water for 10 to 15 minutes. This will remove the tiredness of the day and the hard skin will become soft.
3. Exfoliation and dead skin cleansing: After soaking in water, the heels and hard skin become soft. Remove dead skin by gently rubbing the heels with the help of a pumice stone or foot brush. After this, apply scrub on hands and feet and massage in circular motion for 5 minutes and wash with plain water.
4. Cuticle care and shine: Now the skin around the nails will have become quite soft. Push it back gently with a cuticle pusher or towel. To remove yellowness of nails, rub the remaining lemon peel on the nails, which will make them shine naturally.
5. Deep moisturization: Dry hands and feet with a clean towel. After this, take your favorite moisturizer, body lotion or coconut oil and massage thoroughly for 5 to 10 minutes. Massage improves blood circulation and makes the skin glow from within.
6. Nail paint application: Once the lotion has absorbed into the skin, apply base coat on the nails. After it dries, apply nail polish of your favorite color.
