Prakash Raj's name missing from the voter list, he said – 'Name has been removed from the seat from where he contested'

Bengaluru: Actor Prakash Raj is once again in the news for his statement. This time he has raised questions on the removal of his name from the voter list of Bengaluru. Prakash Raj, while sharing a video on social media, expressed his displeasure over this matter and asked questions about the entire process.

According to Prakash Raj, when he checked the voter list after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, his name was not found in it. The actor said that he was born in Bengaluru and a large part of his life has been associated with this city. From studies to theatre, he made his mark in Bengaluru itself.

The actor also reminded that he had contested the Lok Sabha elections from the same area. In such a situation, he is surprised to see his name missing from the voter list of the same area from where he contested and sought votes from the people. He also took a dig at this entire situation by raising questions through social media posts.

Prakash Raj said that clarity is necessary regarding the situation like removal of name from the voter list. Demanding accountability from the concerned process and officials, he raised questions as to how this happened.

Also expressed displeasure over JPSC-JSSC performance

Prakash Raj has also reacted to the police action taken during the demonstration of JPSC and JSSC candidates in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He expressed his displeasure over the police action by sharing videos to the demonstration on social media.

Actually, under the banner of JPSC-JSSC Reform Forum, the candidates had come to surround the assembly. The protesters were demanding cancellation of the JSSC-CGL exam and a CBI inquiry into alleged irregularities in the recruitment process. Police used water cannon, tear gas and lathi charge to control the crowd. Prakash Raj has targeted the government and administration regarding this action.
