Tezzbuzz Desk- Amidst the monsoon session of Parliament, political rhetoric has intensified between the ruling party and the opposition regarding the students' issue. The opposition is continuously demanding answers from Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the police action against students during the Parliament march in Delhi. The opposition's question is who gave permission for lathicharge and alleged use of pellet guns on the students.

Meanwhile, BJP MP and former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has targeted Congress and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that Congress is spreading misinformation and lies regarding the interests of students. He also asked Rahul Gandhi why he is silent about the police action taken against students in Jharkhand.

'Rahul Gandhi does not have facts'

Dharmendra Pradhan attacked Congress through a post on social media. He said that Congress, which talks about the interests of students, does not have facts in many cases. Pradhan alleged that Rahul Gandhi habitually lies and only repeats his allegations instead of hearing replies in Parliament.

The BJP MP said that Rahul Gandhi should come to Parliament and listen to the answers of the government. He alleged that the aim of Congress is to create political ruckus instead of finding a solution to the students' issue.

'Parliament does not have the capacity to hear answers'

Dharmendra Pradhan said that accusing Union Home Minister Amit Shah without facts shows the political frustration of Congress. He claimed that the government is ready to discuss every issue in Parliament. Pradhan alleged that Congress was disrupting the proceedings of Parliament, which affected the discussion on important issues to the country and the youth. He said that when there is discussion inside the House, Congress leaders protest outside and are not ready to listen to the government when it responds.

He also raised questions on the priorities of Congress and said that the party should keep the national interest and youth issues above politics.

'Congress's democracy is selective'

Dharmendra Pradhan accused Congress of adopting double standards regarding the police action against students in Jharkhand. He said that Congress's democracy is also 'selective'.

According to Pradhan, where Congress or its allies are in government, the party remains silent on the action taken against students, whereas Congress attacks the government over the action taken in other states. Referring to the police action against students in Jharkhand, he said that the country has seen the incidents there.

'Why is Rahul Gandhi silent?'

Questioning the silence of Rahul Gandhi, the BJP MP said that why the leaders who hold press conferences on different issues are not coming forward in the matter of Jharkhand.

He said that Congress should make it clear that if it is so concerned about the rights and democracy of students, then what is the party's stand on the action taken in Jharkhand. Pradhan claimed that the youth of the country have understood the alleged double standards of Congress.

Political conflict intensifies on students' issue

The issue of police action on students is currently a cause of political conflict in Parliament. The opposition is demanding answers from the government in this matter, while BJP leaders allege that Congress is making political use of this issue.

Dharmendra Pradhan, through his statement, made a sharp attack on Congress and Rahul Gandhi and said that there should be no place for any kind of dictatorship in democracy. He also accused Congress of working with old political methods and alleged double standards.
