Last year, in May 2025, former US President Joe Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer. According to reports, his cancer was very serious and rapidly growing. Later it spread to other parts of the body, especially to the bones. His son Hunter Biden recently told that due to this disease his father is facing a lot of pain and trouble.
Doctors had given Biden’s cancer a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5). This shows a serious form of prostate cancer, in which there is a high risk of the disease progressing rapidly. When prostate cancer spreads from its initial site to other parts of the body like bones, it is called Bone Metastasis i.e. spread of cancer in the bones.
