Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke has now announced the launch of a new campaign to improve the condition of government schools across the country after the campaign launched on the NEET paper leak issue. He informed that 'Fix the School' campaign will be started on a nationwide level from August 15. Announcing the campaign through social media, Deepke said that it is extremely shameful that even after so many years of independence, lakhs of children in rural India are deprived of basic facilities in schools. He said that education is the basis of progress of any country, but many government schools are still struggling with lack of basic resources.

According to Deepke, the aim of the 'Fix the School' campaign is to highlight the problems existing in government schools in rural and remote areas and to increase public participation to solve them. Under the campaign, demands will be raised to ensure basic facilities, teaching system and better environment for students in schools. He said that it is the primary responsibility of the governments to provide quality education and better basic facilities to the children of the country. In such a situation, participation of society and citizens is also necessary to improve the education system.

In a post released on social media, Deepke said, “Even after 80 years of independence, village children have to plead for basic facilities in school, this is extremely shameful. As a country, we have failed the rural children the worst.” He said that on the occasion of Independence Day, CJP will launch the 'Fix the School' campaign. The main objective of this campaign is to highlight the current condition of government schools in villages and raise the demand for improvement in basic facilities there at the national level.

The objective of this initiative is to highlight issues to education by bringing together common citizens, parents and local public representatives. According to Deepke, under the campaign, the basic problems and lack of facilities present in the government schools of the villages will be highlighted. Also, solutions to these problems will be demanded from the concerned authorities and governments, so that students can get a better educational environment. He said that the special focus of this campaign will be on the children of farmer and laborer families, who often get education amidst limited resources. The objective of the campaign is to ensure that such children get a safe, convenient and quality education environment.

Abhijeet Deepke will start the campaign from his village Hingoli.

In a video message, Abhijeet Deepke told that he will start this campaign from his village located in Hingoli district of Maharashtra. He said that first of all he will meet the Sarpanch of the village and request him to improve the condition of local government schools and will take up the basic problems to education on priority. CJP has appealed to citizens, parents and village representatives to join this initiative and come forward to address the neglect of rural educational infrastructure. The party says that participation of different sections of the society is necessary to improve the condition of government schools.

Those who improve schools will be honored through 'Sarpanch Challenge'

CJP said that 'Sarpanch Challenge' will be started under the campaign. Its objective is to encourage village representatives to improve the condition of government schools. Sarpanches who significantly improve the infrastructure and educational environment in their village schools will be publicly felicitated. According to the party, before and after photographs of the respective schools will be shared on social media platforms to show the change in the condition of the schools. Besides, credit for the improvement works will be given to the concerned Sarpanches, so that public representatives of other villages can also be inspired by it.
