In this series, on Wednesday (August 12, 2026), a rise in the prices of gold and silver was also seen in the international market. On Tuesday, gold prices on MCX increased by about Rs 900, while silver prices saw a rise of Rs 2,241. The rate of silver also jumped by Rs 2241 for the third consecutive day to reach Rs 237900 per kg. In the international market, the price of silver increased by 1.05 percent and is trading at $ 65.615 per ounce.
On August 12, 2026, the price of silver in Delhi, Kanpur and Mumbai has been recorded at Rs 255.10 per gram and Rs 2,55,100 per kilogram. The price is showing an increase of Rs 0.10 per gram and Rs 100 per kilogram. The base price of 10 grams of silver is Rs 2,551. After adding 12 percent making charge 306 percent and 3 percent GST 86 percent, the total price can be Rs 2,943.
