Often rice is left over at home. If you prepare rice for guests at home, some people do not eat rice at night or take less diet, due to which rice gets saved. People fry such cooked rice and eat it. We eat the leftover rice by making cheela, but today we are telling you how to make Dhokla from the leftover rice. You can prepare it in minutes. Rice Dhokla is very spongy and tasty to eat. You must try this recipe once.

Baked Rice Dhokla Recipe

First step- For this, first of all you have to add 1 cup cooked rice, half cup curd and half cup semolina and mix it. If you want, first grind rice and curd and then add semolina and stir once. Now keep the prepared batter for 10 minutes.

Second step- Now pour water in a pan, heat it and grease the plate for making Dhokla. After 10 minutes, add water as per requirement in the solution. You do not have to make very thick or thin batter. It has to be like the batter of Idli Dosa.

Third step- Add 2 finely chopped green chillies and salt and mix. Now add eno, mix and pour the dhokla batter in a greased plate and sprinkle some red chili powder on top. Place this mold in a pan and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Fourth step- When the time is up, turn off the gas and when the Dhokla cools down, cut it with a knife. Cut it into desired shapes. Now heat oil in a pan to apply tadka in dhokla. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, green chillies, curry leaves and sesame seeds and fry.

Fifth step- Pour the prepared tadka on dhokla and serve with green chutney. To give it a light sour sweet taste, add a solution of sugar and water. Serve rice dhokla by adding fried chillies on top.
