Mahindra Scorpio Pickup: Mahindra has released a teaser for its new Scorpio Pikup, which is set for a global launch on August 14. It will feature premium amenities such as a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera. Mahindra shared the teaser with the caption, “Something bigger is on its way. Born for a Bigger World. 14.08.26,” clearly indicating the global debut of this production-spec pickup truck on August 14. This teaser offers the clearest glimpse yet and confirms that Mahindra is sticking to the bold design language previously showcased in the 'Global Pik Up Concept.'

Mahindra is all set for its Independence Day showcase this year, planning to unveil not just one but two major vehicles. Just a day after teasing the BE 6 SPORTEQ, the company released another teaser revealing the long-awaited Scorpio Pikup. Let's take a look at what makes this new pickup truck special.

Starting with the design, the teaser showcases the double-cab version. The front fascia has been completely redesigned, giving it a distinct look that clearly sets it apart from the recently updated Scorpio N SUV. The front features a large, upright grille bearing Mahindra's latest 'Twin Peaks' logo, flanked by slim all-LED headlamps and stylish LED DRLs.

At the rear, the vehicle sports vertically stacked LED tail-lamps with a modern signature, while the tailgate displays 'Mahindra' lettering across its entire width. A glimpse of the new alloy wheel design is also visible, further enhancing the truck's muscular stance. Viewed from the side, it presents the bold profile of a global lifestyle truck, complete with a spacious cargo bed situated behind the passenger cabin.

Cabin

While Mahindra has kept most of the cabin under wraps for now, the teaser clearly indicates that the Scorpio Pikup borrows heavily from the recently launched Scorpio N. A panoramic sunroof is clearly visible—a feature making its debut on a Mahindra pickup.

The dashboard layout is also expected to mirror that of the Scorpio N, featuring a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and the latest multifunction steering wheel. Additionally, it will come equipped with a 360-degree camera system, which will prove highly useful for both city driving and off-road manoeuvres.

Engine

Regarding the engine, Mahindra has not yet disclosed any technical specifications. However, the Scorpio Pikup is expected to share its mechanical package with the Scorpio N SUV. The familiar 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine is likely to be the primary option, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Global Debut

Mahindra's Independence Day events have traditionally served as a platform for unveiling impressive products, and this year will be no exception. With the BE 6 SPORTEQ already confirmed and the official teaser for the Scorpio Pikup now released, the company is gearing up for a major showcase on August 14, 2026.
