IIT Delhi Digital Humanities Winter School 2027: The third edition of the Digital Humanities Winter School at IIT Delhi will be held in January. The application process has commenced, and candidates can apply until August 30. The program will focus on digital storytelling, interactive narrative design, and story-based digital research.
When will it take place?
The Winter School will begin with an online bootcamp covering Python and Ren'Py. This will be followed by a one-week offline program held at the IIT Delhi campus from January 4 to January 9, 2027.
The program is designed so that participants with no prior coding experience can learn digital methods and engage in creative experimentation. Selected participants will have the opportunity to understand the relationship between technology and creativity within the field of Digital Humanities.
Who can apply?
In addition to receiving hands-on training in digital media, participants will have the opportunity to engage in critical discussions on various topics and present their own projects. Applications are open to students and early-career researchers in the arts and social sciences, as well as artists, writers, designers, and professionals working in digital media.
