After 10 years, Instagram suddenly changed its wordmark under Meta. The new wordmark has already been made public by the organization. Naturally, that has now become the main topic of discussion among netizens. But why this decision to change?

Instagram debuted in 2010. This logo was completely different at that time. In 2010, the logo was changed to look a bit like a camera. In 2011, the company changed the logo again. Instagram users before 2016 saw that logo. In 2016, it was replaced by the current logo. Change to Instagram again after 10 years! No, but this time the logo has not changed, the wordmark has been changed. In other words, the company has changed the font in which Instagram was written on the app. Instagram's 'R' looks a bit like a 'z' in the new wordmark. Which netizens are making fun of. But most people remember this wordmark.

But why suddenly decided to change this wordmark? In an Instagram post, CEO Adam Mosseri wrote, 'The text (wordmark) at the top of the app hasn't changed in the last 10 years. So it's time for a revamp. It has now been made cleaner and more modern. It has the touch of the original logo and that simplicity.' This wordmark change has also been reported by Mosseri in Instagram threads.
