The discussion about new political equations has intensified in central politics. It is believed that NDA may expand in the coming time and possibilities of entry of DMK, both factions of NCP and Shiromani Akali Dal are being explored.

Tezzbuzz Desk- Is the NDA clan going to grow bigger in the coming days? Can the closeness between DMK and BJP increase? Will both the factions of NCP unite and become a part of NDA and will Shiromani Akali Dal once again stand with BJP? From Delhi to Maharashtra, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, political discussions are intense on these questions.

Actually, the NDA government at the Center needs strong numerical strength in the Parliament. In such a situation, if parties like DMK, unified NCP and Akali Dal come with NDA, then the position of the government can become stronger. The support of these parties can also prove important for the central government on important issues like delimitation and women's reservation.

After the change of power in Tamil Nadu politics, there is intense speculation about new political equations. DMK is brainstorming a strategy for its political future. It is a big challenge for the party to keep the organization strong amid talks of many party leaders joining other parties.

At the same time, the political closeness between Congress and DMK is not visible as before. There is still a long time for the next assembly elections. In such a situation, DMK can consider new options to retain its political base and leaders-workers.

Meanwhile, there is talk of keeping the lines of communication open between BJP and DMK. However, no final decision has yet been taken regarding the formal alliance between the two parties.

Political warmth seen in Speaker's tea party

Opposition parties stayed away from the Speaker's traditional tea party at the conclusion of the Lok Sabha session, but the DMK participated in it. On behalf of DMK, Kanimozhi spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and other NDA leaders.

Various speculations are being made in political circles regarding this meeting. It is believed that DMK may keep the option of giving issue-based support on some issues of the Central Government open.

Will DMK join NDA?

DMK has about 30 MPs including Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. In such a situation, if the party comes with NDA or gives support from outside, then it can increase the parliamentary strength of the central government.

However, there are said to be different opinions on this issue within the DMK. One section of the party is believed to be in favor of supporting the central government on the basis of issues, while the other section may consider going with BJP as harmful for Dravidian politics.

DMK's decision to formally join hands with BJP will be possible only after talks between the top leadership of both the parties.

Discussion of integration of both factions of NCP

In Maharashtra too, there is speculation about the coming together of both the factions of NCP. Discussions have been going on for a long time regarding the possible unification between the factions of Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar.

It is being told that BJP is also in favor of uniting both the groups. If both the factions of NCP unite then there may be a possibility of the unified party joining NDA.

Supriya Sule's meeting with Prime Minister Modi and Sharad Pawar's meeting with the PM during the monsoon session of Parliament are also being linked to this political development.

According to sources, if both the groups come together then there may be a possibility of NCP getting representation in the central government. There is talk of the party being interested in ministries like agriculture and cooperation.

Hints of friendship again with Akali Dal?

Discussions are also intense in Punjab regarding the return of the old alliance between BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal. These speculations have gained further momentum after the recent meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal.

The numbers of Akali Dal in the Lok Sabha may be limited, but the possible partnership between the two parties could be important from the point of view of Punjab Assembly elections.

At the same time, after the attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal in Nanded, many senior BJP leaders including Prime Minister Modi spoke to Harsimrat Kaur Badal on phone to know about her well being. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also ordered an investigation into the matter.

In such a situation, everyone's eyes will be on the direction in which the relations between BJP and Akali Dal go in the coming times.

What will change with the extension of NDA?

If DMK, unified NCP and Akali Dal come together with NDA, then the scope of alliance in central politics can increase significantly. However, at present there has been no official announcement regarding these parties joining NDA.

But the possible coordination with these parties amidst the numerical strength in Parliament, upcoming elections and changing political equations has definitely given rise to new discussions in the country's politics.
