Tezzbuzz Desk – An important update has come out regarding Jr NTR's upcoming film 'Dragon'. The actor had to undergo surgery after injuring his shoulder during the shooting of the film. Now, in view of his recovery, there are preparations to change the shooting schedule of the film. Meanwhile, director Prashant Neel has decided to take forward the preparations for his next big project 'Saalar 2: Shauryang Parv'.

Junior NTR injured during action scene

According to reports, during the shooting of 'Dragon' in the last week of July, Junior NTR suffered a shoulder injury while performing an action scene. After this, he underwent arthroscopic surgery on 12th August at KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad.

The actor was discharged from the hospital on August 13, the next day after the surgery. Now he has been advised to take rest for about two to three months to recover completely.

The remaining part of the film will be shot in the absence of NTR.

Due to Junior NTR's injury, the shooting of 'Dragon' has been stopped for the time being. However, the team may work on parts that do not require an actor.

According to media reports, the makers will now prepare a new shooting schedule keeping in mind the recovery of NTR. The film is being made on a large scale and has many high-octane action sequences. In such a situation, the team wants to bring the actor back to the set only after he is completely fit.

Prashant Neel increased focus on 'Salar 2'

During Jr NTR's recovery, director Prashant Neel will be using his time for the pre-production preparations of 'Salaar 2: Shauryang Parv'. The earlier plan was that after completing the work of 'Dragon', he would focus on the next phase of 'Salar 2'.

Now due to the change in the schedule of 'Dragon', Prashant Neel has got extra time to prepare for 'Salar 2'. During this time, he will complete many important tasks including writing of the film, planning and pre-visualization of action sequences.

Also met the producer of 'Salar 2'

According to reports, Prashant Neel has also met Homble Films producer Vijay Kiragandur. There has been a discussion between the two regarding the production schedule of 'Salar 2'.

The tentative title of the film is said to be 'Saalar 2: Shauryang Parv' and according to reports, its final script has also been locked. Prabhas will once again be seen in the lead role in the film.

'Dragon' will be released on June 11, 2027

There is a lot of excitement among the fans about Junior NTR's 'Dragon'. The film has been announced to be released in theaters on 11 June 2027. The first poster and glimpse of the film was also released on the occasion of Jr. NTR's birthday in May.

It is a period action drama, in which Junior NTR will be seen in the dangerous character named 'Lugar'. Along with him, actors like Anil Kapoor, Rukmini Vasant, Biju Menon, Khushboo Sundar, Guru Somasundaram, Rajiv Kanakala, Ashutosh Rana, Siddhant Gupta and Anshuman Pushkar will be seen in important roles in the film.
