Despite the fall in Sensex and Nifty last week, there was a strong rise in five stocks. DJS Stock and Shares gave the highest return of 69.88%, while the other four stocks also gained more than 36%.
Business: Last week, there was pressure in the domestic stock market and Sensex closed down by 0.62% while Nifty closed down by 0.83%. Despite this, some small stocks performed brilliantly against the market trend. Shares of five companies including DJS Stock and Shares registered a rise of 36% to 70% during five trading days.
Market declined, these stocks showed rise
The last trading week was weak for the Indian stock market. BSE Sensex fell 489.92 points or 0.62% and closed at 78,009.25. Whereas Nifty 50 recorded a decline of 204.65 points or 0.83% and closed at the level of 24,366.
Despite weakness in major indices, tremendous buying was seen in some small stocks. Shares of five companies gave returns of more than 36% in just five trading days. The price of some of these shares was around Rs 2 to Rs 8.
Highest jump of 69.88% in DJS Stock and Shares
DJS Stock and Shares had the best performance last week. The company’s shares gained 69.88% in five trading days. Its price increased from Rs 1.66 to Rs 2.82.
On Friday, the stock closed at Rs 2.82, up 9.73% on BSE. At this price the market capitalization of the company was around Rs 21.28 crore.
Swati Projects gave more than 61% returns
Swati Projects’ shares also saw a sharp rise last week. The company’s shares rose from Rs 35.80 to Rs 57.65. In this way, it registered a rise of 61.03% in five trading days.
On Friday, the stock closed at Rs 57.65 on BSE with a gain of 10%. At this price the market capitalization of the company was around Rs 58.23 crore.
More than 36% rise in Shreyas Intermediates and Shekhawati Industries
Shares of Shreyas Intermediates also performed well during the week. Its price increased from Rs 5.60 to Rs 7.67. In this way the stock rose by 36.96%. On Friday, it closed at Rs 7.67, up 4.50% on BSE.
Whereas the shares of Shekhawati Industries increased from Rs 14 to Rs 19.10. It registered a rise of 36.43% during the week. However, the stock fell 4.69% to close at Rs 19.10 on Friday.
Vision Corporation also rose 36%
Vision Corporation’s shares also rose by 36% last week. The company’s shares increased from Rs 2 to Rs 2.72. On Friday it closed unchanged at Rs 2.72 on BSE.
At this price the market capitalization of the company was around Rs 5.43 crore. The market capitalization of some of the companies included in this list is quite small and the price of their shares is also low.
