When will the UGC NET re-exam take place?

The re-exams for the three UGC NET subjects will be held on September 9 and 10, 2026. The English exam is scheduled for September 9 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Commerce paper will be held in the second shift on September 9, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Sociology exam will take place the following day, September 10, in the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Which candidates are required to take the exam again?

Will candidates have to pay a fee for the re-examination?
