What’s New?
A few subtle cosmetic changes distinguish the Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition from the standard model. It gets gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels along with the new ‘85’ decals on wheel hub caps, doors and tailgate.
Inside, the Compass special edition offers a sporty all-black theme with contrasting Mayan Gold accents and black leatherette upholstery with gold-coloured stitching. Additionally, golden highlights in the ambient lighting and illumination along the sides of the panoramic sunroof further enhance the cabin experience.
Jeep India is also offering the Compass 85th Anniversary AXS accessory package, which includes a digital IRVM, front and rear dashcams and illuminated elements on the panoramic sunroof. Price of the accessory pack is yet to be announced.
Same Diesel Engine
Under the hood, the new Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition continues with the same 2.0L diesel engine, available with both 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic gearbox options. The engine delivers a claimed power of 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. The automatic variants are exclusively offered with a 4WD (four-wheel drive) system.
