Just another app to buy train tickets! Phone storage also goes to apps. Now Uber has come up with a solution to that problem. Now users can book the train ticket while booking the cab. You will also get other benefits starting from checking train PNR.

Till now cab or bike could be booked through Uber. Hourly car rental was also available. Parcel sharing was available on the Uber app. Now Uber is bringing a new version. It is known that Uber has tied up with Indian Railways ticket booking platform Ixigo. Their aim is to facilitate all types of vehicle booking through a single app. Not only trains, long-distance buses can also be booked with Uber's new feature. There will also be an option of booking a cab or auto from the train.

It should be noted that currently at least 14.5 lakh tickets are sold on the IRCTC website. Many of the passengers buy tickets from the app as well. Statistics say that 741 crore passengers traveled by train in the last financial year. Most of them buy tickets online. Uber's new initiative is keeping that in mind. IRCTC app or website contains annoying content like unnecessary captcha, pop up. But the Uber app will not have those 'clutters'. Tickets can be purchased easily.

How to get train tickets on Uber app? Train and bus booking options can be seen by opening the app on the phone. If you click on that option, you will get all the train information. User's IRCTC ID will be required after submitting the desired train and passenger details. If someone has forgotten this ID then you will get that information again by email. Once the process of payment etc. is done, booking of ticket in Uber app is complete. There will also be an option to book other vehicles before and after boarding the train based on that ticket.
