A 43-second video posted by The SG Daily on Aug. 15 shows a man telling a woman to stop shouting, prompting her to tell him to stop pointing his finger at her.
“Stop, stop show finger to my face,” the woman says.
The man replies, “You want me to show the middle finger?”
As a course marshal approaches and another man tries to explain the situation, the argument continues, with both sides trading insults in English and Hokkien. The man calls the woman a “slut,” while she calls him “ah kua,” a derogatory term commonly used for an effeminate man or transgender person.
A second woman then joins the confrontation as the other man continues speaking to the marshal before the video ends, according to AsiaOne.

The video, titled “Golf dispute between Singapore uncle and Vietnamese women escalates into heated confrontation,” has drawn more than 1.2 million views and thousands of reactions and comments on Instagram and Facebook.
According to the original poster, the incident occurred on Aug. 14 at Ponderosa Golf and Country Resort in Johor Bahru and began at the first hole.
She said her 11-year-old son teed off after their caddy confirmed it was safe to play. His ball landed behind two men ahead of them, but one of the men, wearing blue, allegedly walked back, picked it up and threw it away.
The group initially did not confront the men. After the caddy again said it was safe to play, one of the women took her shot, only for the same man to allegedly throw away her ball as well.
The two men then drove their buggy toward the group, leading to the confrontation seen in the video.
The woman said she believed the men were Singaporean because they were driving a car with a Singapore-registered licence plate.
Another woman who said she was part of the group claimed one man pointed at her friend and shouted at her, while the other challenged them to a fight and threatened to have them banned from the course.
Yvonne Loh, senior manager of business development and communications at Ponderosa Golf & Country Resort, confirmed to Stomp that the incident occurred on Aug. 14 and said the resort was working to resolve the dispute.
