Share Market Today: Market stabilized in early trade, Sensex rose 500 points; Nifty crosses 24,198

Mumbai Sensex and Nifty regained momentum in early trade on Thursday amid improvement in global markets. Global market sentiments have improved due to softening of US government bond yield rates. BSE Sensex jumped 504.32 points to 77,416.16 in early trade. Earlier, Sensex had registered a decline in four consecutive trading sessions. Similarly, NSE Nifty also recovered after seven consecutive sessions of decline. It increased by 118.85 points to 24,198.55 points.

Shares of all 30 companies included in the Sensex were on the rise in early trading. Shares of Eternal, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consultancy Services and HCL Tech were the biggest gainers. In Asian markets, South Korea's Kospi jumped 5.74 percent. Japan's Nikkei 225, China's SSE Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng are also trading in gains.

American markets closed with gains on Wednesday. International oil benchmark Brent crude rose 0.20 percent to $91.87 per barrel in futures trade. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors bought shares worth a net Rs 407.99 crore on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Sensex closed with a fall of 325.78 points and Nifty with a fall of 76.60 points.
