Gangster Vinod Kana shot dead by armed assailants in Hisar Court premises, associate admitted to hospital in critical condition.

There was a huge panic in front of the main gate of Hisar Court Complex in Haryana on Thursday afternoon at around 3.45 pm, when two armed attackers fired indiscriminately and killed gangster Vinod Kana, a resident of Thurana village. Another person has also been seriously injured in this firing, who has been admitted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. After the incident, the police and people present on the spot took immediate action and caught one of the two attackers on the spot.

Firing 15 to 20 rounds in 30 seconds

According to eyewitness Advocate Sukhdeep, lawyers and people were returning after having dinner in the afternoon, when the attackers suddenly started firing bullets. Within about 30 seconds, 15 to 20 rounds were fired. The attackers first started firing on Vinod Kana in the parking area of ​​the court. After this, he was chased near the main gate and shot with bullets, due to which he died on the spot.

One attacker caught, search for another

The number of attackers who carried out the crime is said to be two. One of these attackers has been taken into custody by the police on the spot, while efforts are being made to arrest the other one. In the preliminary investigation, the attackers are said to be associated with the notorious Panu gang. There is a possibility that this incident may have been carried out due to mutual gang war and old rivalry.

Blockade and alert in the city

As soon as information about the incident was received, top police officials reached the spot with heavy police force. An intensive investigation campaign has been started by sending wireless messages to all the checkpoints in the district.

More than 30 cases were registered

Gangster Vinod Kana, resident of Thurana village, was the most wanted criminal of Hisar Police. There were about 31 to 32 serious criminal cases registered against him, including murder, extortion and murderous attack.
