Lucknow: National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav While opening a front against the Yogi Adityanath government of the state, he has made a very sharp attack. The SP chief bluntly said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is not a democratic political party but is working like an organized gang. Addressing the party workers and officials gathered from across the state at the party headquarters in Lucknow on Thursday, he alleged that open misuse of power and misappropriation of the government budget has become the main agenda of the present government.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the claim of 'zero tolerance' in the state has proved to be completely hollow. Today, law and order has derailed in the state, innocent people are being tortured and an atmosphere of fear is being created through fake encounters. He said that women and daughters are unsafe, while criminals and corrupt people have the direct patronage of the government.

'1 lakh crore game in the name of Mahakumbh', targeted at the situation in Prayagraj

Akhilesh Yadav put the government directly in the dock on the crisis of floods and heavy waterlogging in Prayagraj. He said that one lakh crore rupees were spent in the name of so-called smart development of Prayagraj and preparations for Mahakumbh, but today that development seems to be floating in water. Thousands of houses in the city are submerged and people are in distress.

The SP president said, “If the government had any morality, it would have resigned out of shame after seeing such plight of thousands of families.” Challenging the Chief Minister and ministers, he said that conducting aerial and aerial surveys will not change the ground reality. If the government representatives have the courage to come out on the streets and face the distressed people, then they will know the reality of the thousands of crores of rupees spent in the name of polishing their image.

Allegations of theft of offerings in Ayodhya and conspiracy against Azam Khan

Referring to the incidents to Ram temple in Ayodhya, Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the government did not take the misappropriation of offerings and donations in the temple seriously. He claimed that an attempt was made to save big faces in this case, due to which public trust and confidence has been deeply hurt.

Raising the issue of senior SP leader Mohammad Azam Khan, Akhilesh said that BJP is continuously plotting against him and is working with a spirit of revenge. He stressed that 90 percent of the people of the state including farmers, laborers, youth, small traders and middle class are suffering from this misgovernance and uncontrolled inflation.

'In 2027, the public will change the government forever'

Akhilesh Yadav said that the system does not improve merely by changing the names of cities, but the government should change its intentions and working style. He claimed that the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) community has made up its mind to oust the BJP from power and only the SP is capable of foiling these conspiracies of the BJP.

The SP chief expressed confidence that the public will bid farewell to this government in the coming assembly elections and if the Samajwadi Party government is formed, every section of the society will get justice, respect and their rights. Many prominent leaders and workers including MP Awadhesh Prasad, party's national secretary Rajendra Chaudhary were present in this meeting.
