Marathi mandatory for auto-taxi drivers in Maharashtra, badge-permit can be canceled if rules are broken, investigation campaign started

Mumbai, 20 August. Knowledge of basic Marathi language will now be mandatory for auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers in Maharashtra. State Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik announced this on Wednesday.
