Lucknow. Another star has been added to the glory of Nawabi city Lucknow. Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has inaugurated its new luxury hotel Taj Palace in Gomtinagar in the capital. This 181-room hotel will provide an experience of the traditional Nawabi culture of Lucknow along with modern facilities.

Punit Chatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said that with the expansion of economic activities, investment and tourism in the country, cities like Lucknow are fast emerging as important growth centres. The opening of the second Taj hotel in Uttar Pradesh reflects the growing economic and social importance of the state and IHCL's long-term commitment here.

60 hotel projects in more than 20 cities of UP

Puneet Chatwal told that IHCL has been present in Uttar Pradesh for a long time. The company has about 60 hotels and projects in more than 20 cities in the state. The company is working towards establishing the cultural, spiritual and business identity of Uttar Pradesh at the global level through its different brands.
