Rajasthan News: Ten days ongoing in Bikaner House, New Delhi 'Teejotsav-2026' The art, culture, food and traditional products of Rajasthan are attracting people. In this event which will run till August 24, self-help groups from different areas of Rajasthan, groups associated with Rajivika and Ruda and other vendors are displaying their products.

Rajasthani products became people's choice

Chief Resident Commissioner Rohit Kumar Said that small and big vendors from different districts of Rajasthan are getting the opportunity to deliver their products to the consumers of the capital Delhi. Along with Rajasthani cuisine, people are liking traditional clothes, sarees, suits, lehengas, bangles, leather goods, decorative items, Hand-Painted Products and Hand-Block Printed clothes in the fair.

The partnership of Rajivika and self-help groups has provided a platform to small businessmen and women entrepreneurs, especially in rural areas, to sell their products and connect with new customers.

Local artisans are getting a new market

Joint Resident Commissioner Rinku Meena Told that the objective of Teejotsav is to give a wide platform to the folk art, culture, traditional food and local products of Rajasthan in Delhi. Efforts are also being made to connect vendors and self-help groups from different districts with the new market.

Meanwhile, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs and senior Indian Foreign Service officer Ankan Banerjee Also visited Teejotsav on Thursday. He visited various stalls and appreciated the products of the handicraft artists.

The allure of hand-painted sarees and block prints

They create designs inspired by the art and culture of Rajasthan using natural colors on cotton and silk fabrics. Customers also appreciated the quality and traditional designs of their products.

Demonstration of the art of tying turban

Thursday as part of Teej Utsav Turban Tying Competition Was also organized. In this, the participants showed the skill of tying traditional Rajasthani turban. The winners were honored with gifts and citations.

Apart from highlighting the cultural identity of Rajasthan, this event of Bikaner House is also becoming a medium to provide new customers and wider market to local artisans, women entrepreneurs and small businessmen.
