Desi Ghee Trick: If you want to avoid the long hassle of churning cream and extracting butter, then this easy kitchen trick can be very useful for you. Today we are going to tell you a trick to extract ghee from cream with the help of which you can easily extract ghee without removing butter. Along with this you will also get a lot of cheese.

Milk comes to the house every day, from which cream also comes out every day. Most people store the skimmed cream of milk. When it gradually gets accumulated, some people make homemade desi ghee from this cream. But many people throw the cream directly in the dustbin considering the long process of extracting ghee. If you are also included in them then do not do this in future.

How to make ghee without butter?

Step 1: Prepare the cream
To extract pure desi ghee and cheese, take milk cream stored for about a week. If the cream is kept in the freezer, then take it out a few hours before making ghee, so that it becomes soft properly.

Step 2: Cook for the first time
Now put it in a thick bottomed pan. Mix some water in it and cook on low to medium flame. Keep stirring the cream occasionally so that it does not stick to the bottom. When the cream melts completely and looks like milk, turn off the gas.

Step 3: Refrigerate

Now place a glass filled with water in the middle of this melted cream. Place the glass in the middle of the pan and keep the pan in the refrigerator overnight. The cream will set well by morning.

Step 4: Remove excess water
Take out the glass in the morning. A crater will form where the glass was kept. Add cold water in it and take out that water in another vessel. By doing this once or twice the extra water will separate from the cream. Do not throw this water. It can be drunk by adding some salt or it can be used in dishes like curry.

Paneer Making Tips

Put the frozen cream again in the pan and cook on low to medium flame. Keep in mind that if you want cheese along with ghee, then the cream should not be cooked too much. When the cream melts completely and its color starts turning light yellow, then turn off the gas. Now filter it. The solid part that remains after filtering, tie it in a clean cloth and keep it under some heavy object for some time. Your fresh homemade paneer will be ready.
