Official: Joao Cancelo joins Barcelona

Barcelona have officially confirmed the signing of Joao Cancelo.
The Portugal international has ended his contract with Al Hilal and will now begin a new phase of his career at Barcelona, this time on a permanent transfer.
The move could not be finalised in time on Wednesday for Joao to be officially introduced to the Barca supporters during the Joan Gamper Trophy, something that reportedly left him upset, but the formal announcement has now been made on Thursday.
His ability to play in multiple roles will add strength to both full-back positions, and he is expected to offer serious competition to both Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde.
He is likely to be presented officially in the next few hours.
