**TET Exam to Carry 150 Marks**
The Primary Teacher Eligibility Test will consist of 150 questions, with each question carrying one mark. Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes for the exam, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. A minimum of 50% marks is required for SC, ST, OBC, PwD (Divyang), and EWS candidates, while 60% marks are required for other categories. In the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test as well, each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking.

**Which Teachers Are Required to Take the Eligibility Test?**
Teachers working in government schools at the primary level are eligible to appear for the MP TET. This includes Assistant Teachers, Primary Teachers, *Sahayak Adhyapak*, Contract School Teachers (Class-3), Laboratory Assistants, Primary Teachers (Science), and other related teaching staff. In accordance with the Supreme Court's order, teachers at the primary and secondary levels must pass the eligibility test. The deadline for passing this exam has been set for August 31, 2028.

What is the application fee?
Candidates from all categories are required to pay an examination fee of ₹1,000 per paper for the MP TET 2026. Additionally, portal or kiosk charges will apply depending on the mode of application. A fee of ₹60 applies for applications submitted via the MP Online portal, while a fee of ₹20 applies for applications submitted through a registered citizen user. The fee for the first correction in the application is ₹20, and the fee for corrections in the final stage is ₹40.
