In religious texts, the Kalki incarnation of Lord Vishnu has been linked to the end of Kaliyuga and the reestablishment of religion. It is believed that in the last phase of Kaliyuga, when unrighteousness, atrocities and sins will increase, then Lord Vishnu will incarnate in the form of Kalki and establish religion.
