New Delhi: Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and his longtime partner Gabriella Demetriades have officially registered their marriage in Goa. The couple completed the legal formalities at the Sub-Registrar's office in Mapusa, North Goa, on Friday in the presence of close friends.

The marriage was registered under Goa's Uniform Civil Code, Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar confirmed. Gabriella Demetriades, who is a South African national, and Arjun Rampal currently reside in Succoro village near Panaji.

According to reports, the couple reached the Sub-Registrar's office around 4 pm and kept the ceremony simple. Both opted for casual outfits for the registration process.

The couple had received special permission from the Assistant Public Prosecutor of the local court to skip the mandatory 15-day gap between the first and second signatures required under the applicable law.

The official marriage certificate will be issued to the couple after the completion of the required process.

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades have been in a relationship for several years. The couple are parents to two sons and have mostly maintained privacy regarding their personal life.
