Pakistan Cricket Team: Pakistan suffered a crushing defeat against England in Leeds, leaving them trailing 0-1 in the three-match series. Pakistan’s performance in the three-match series has been steadily declining. In Test cricket, Pakistan is the only team that hasn’t won a single match in the three-match series in eight years. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has also performed well, while the Indian cricket team appears to be at No. 1.

Team India dominates in the military countries

Over the past eight years, Team India has won the most matches among Asian teams, with 12. Sri Lanka, the second-highest ranked team, has only three wins, while Bangladesh has only two. However, Pakistan hasn’t won a single match during this period. However, this record hasn’t always been maintained by Pakistan.

At one time, Pakistan was the only Asian team to perform well in the SAARC countries. This team, in particular, has a good record in England. It’s not just the SAARC countries that have seen their poor record. Pakistan has consistently underperformed in Asian conditions as well. Only in the last two years has the team begun winning matches at home by developing spin wickets.

Only Team India could win the series

Speaking of series wins in other countries, Team India has won two series in the last eight years. Both times, the Indian team defeated Australia. No Asian team has been able to defeat South Africa, New Zealand, and England in their home soil in the last eight years. Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh have recently disappointed significantly in Test cricket, making these teams less likely to achieve any significant success.

However, the Pakistan team has a golden opportunity. If they win the next two matches in this series, they can win 2-1. This will break their losing streak and also defeat England in their home series. Pakistan captain Babar Azam did not play in the first match due to injury. Babar could make a comeback in the second match. His return will also strengthen Pakistan’s batting.
