New Delhi, August 23 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the countrymen on National Space Day. He called for dreaming bigger, creating more new things and crossing new boundaries. PM Modi said that we have the tricolor in our hands, we have space, we have the dream of 140 crore countrymen, that is the resolve of all of us.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on the social media platform 'X', “Happy National Space Day. Let's dream bigger, create more new things and cross new boundaries.”
On this occasion, PM Modi also released a video. He said, “I had said in Ayodhya that this is the beginning of a new era. This is the origin of a new era. In this new era, India is continuously making its space bigger in the global order. This is also clearly visible in our space program. We all have together resolved to make India a developed nation by 2047. The role of the space sector is very big in bringing this resolution to fruition.”
He said, “Today these Gen-G engineers, Gen-G designers, Gen-G coders and Gen-G scientists are creating new technologies. Be it propulsion systems, composite materials, rocket stages, satellite platforms, the youth of India today are working in areas which were not even possible to imagine a few years ago.”
The Prime Minister said, “India's private space talent is making its own identity in the whole world. Today, India's space sector is becoming an attractive place for global investors. Seeing the success of ISRO, many children think that when they grow up, they will also become a scientist.”
He further said, “That rocket's countdown inspires millions of children. The aeronautical engineer who flies paper airplanes in every house, wants to become an engineer like you when he grows up, wants to become a scientist. With the tricolor in hand, space and the dream of 140 crore countrymen, that is the resolve of all of us.”
