Actor Govinda has issued a legal notice against false reports and AI-generated content about his personal life, warning of legal action and ₹100 crore claims. The notice comes a day after a conversation between Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja and actor Rakhi Sawant went viral
Mumbai: Amid a wave of rumours and misleading reports circulating on social media about his personal life, actor and former MP Govinda has issued a public notice warning media organisations, digital platforms and content creators against publishing or sharing false, defamatory or unverified content related to him or his family.
The notice comes a day after a conversation between Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja and actor Rakhi Sawant went viral. In the conversation, Sunita reportedly claimed that she withdrew a divorce petition after Govinda allegedly expressed his intention to marry actress Rani Swarnkar.
The legal notice specifically mentions photographs, videos, audio clips, morphed images, deepfakes and other forms of synthetic content created using artificial intelligence or digital technology.
Govinda has stated that he has not authorised any individual or platform to create, manipulate or use content involving his voice, image, identity or personal and family matters through AI tools or other digital means.
