Yash’s upcoming film Toxic is set to release on August 26, 2026, and its Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad witnessed a huge turnout from fans and students. However, the event took an unfortunate turn when a structure collapsed at Malla Reddy University, injuring four people. According to reports, some students had climbed onto the structure to get a better view of the event when it collapsed. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, with one student reportedly suffering a leg injury. Yash also stopped his speech after learning about the incident and asked people to stay safe. Following the incident, police registered a case against the institution management and the twist is that a case was also filed on the movie unit. The event was organised to celebrate Toxic and Yash’s popularity among Telugu audiences, but the unfortunate incident has now raised concerns about safety arrangements and crowd management at such large events.
