Nvidia AI prices: Nvidia increased AI related prices, will be applicable on systems shipped early next year

Nvidia AI price: Veteran tech manufacturer Nvidia has informed some of its big customers that the prices of servers containing its Artificial Intelligence (AI) chips have increased by more than 15 percent. The reason behind increasing the prices is said to be the rapid increase in the cost of memory chips. This will also affect systems that are equipped with the company's signature Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell chips. According to reports, the price increase will depend on the generation and memory configuration of Nvidia chips.

Nvidia's Accelerator processors are a core part of computers that create and run AI software. Their capacity depends on how much Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) they have.

This type of chip is mostly produced by 2 Korean companies and Micron, which are not able to meet the demand.

Companies that make servers on contract for large data center operators like Microsoft, Alphabet's Google and Oracle have also recently informed their customers about the increase in prices.
