During the rainy season, one feels like eating hot things. In this season, not only tea and pakodas but also some other things can provide rich taste and improve health. If you feel like eating something hot, sour and spicy then you can make pineapple rasam i.e. piapple rasam and eat it. Pineapples are most available in this season. Pineapple is a very tasty fruit and is rich in vitamin C and fiber. It tastes very tasty. You can eat it raw, make pineapple juice and drink it, or make pineapple rasam and eat it. Pineapple Rasam Recipe

First step- To make Pineapple Rasam, take a ripe pineapple and peel it. Now cut the pineapple into round slices. Place the slices one by one in the pan and cook from both the sides. Now cut the baked pineapple into pieces. Put chopped pineapple slices in a pan, add finely chopped 1-2 tomatoes, 2 green chillies cut lengthwise, add some turmeric, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and water.

Second step- Now cook the pineapple until it becomes soft. When the pineapples are cooked, add cooked pigeon peas and 1 glass of pineapple juice to it. Mix everything well and cook till it boils. Once the ingredients are cooked, add some lemon juice to it. Now an aromatic tadka has to be prepared for this.

Third step- For tadka, heat ghee or oil in a pan. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli and 1 spoon urad dal. After cooking all the ingredients, mix them in hot rasam. Add finely chopped coriander on top and delicious and sweet and sour pineapple rasam is ready, eat it as is or enjoy it with rice. Children and adults alike will enjoy the taste of Pineapple Rasam.
