6-Year-Old LKG Student Bitten By Mosquito At School, Father Seeks DM Action

A Moradabad professor approached the district magistrate after his six-year-old LKG daughter was allegedly bitten by mosquitoes inside her school. Dr Sonu Singh questioned accountability over possible mosquito-borne diseases and alleged that earlier complaints received no effective response. The DM directed officials to ensure cleanliness, while the school was instructed to carry out fogging.

Moradabad: A professor has approached Moradabad District Magistrate Dr Rajendra Pensiya after his six-year-old daughter, a Class LKG student, was bitten by a mosquito inside her school. The professor said he was concerned about the health risks posed by mosquito-borne diseases and questioned who would be responsible if his daughter developed an illness following the incident.

Parent raises school safety concerns

Dr Sonu Singh, an assistant professor at Amity University, Noida, emailed the district magistrate on August 19, complaining about the condition at Shirdi Sai Public School on Kanth Road. He said his daughter had been bitten by a mosquito at the school on more than one occasion despite an earlier complaint being made through the school diary.

Singh said he had first informed the school administration after his daughter was bitten, expecting the management to take steps to prevent a recurrence. However, according to him, no effective action was taken and the child was bitten again.
