Tehran. Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf met Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir on Monday. This meeting took place in Tehran. Munir is on a tour of Iran. During this, Ghalibaf criticized America. He said that America has repeatedly broken the terms of the 14-point agreement (MoU) signed in June. This agreement was made to end the war in West Asia and make way for technical negotiations. This also included talks on the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's nuclear program.

Ghalibaf shared a statement on Telegram. It said he discussed with Munir the US's disregard for 'repeatedly imposed' conditions in implementing the agreement. Ghalibaf said, 'The responsibilities of all parties are clear in the agreement. America did not fulfill its responsibilities. This prevented stability from being established in the region. Also, it created another reason for distrust in this country.

The Iranian official also said Tehran would continue efforts to implement the deal. He said that Iran is not being affected by external pressure. “We are continuing our efforts to implement the terms of the MoU,” the statement said. America will have to fulfill its responsibilities based on the agreement.

During the meeting, Munir also said that he would continue to try to bring back stability in the region. Munir had reached Tehran only on Monday. He has gone there to talk to Iranian officials. His visit is taking place at a time when tension is increasing in the area. There is also constant tension between Iran and America.

What did Iran say on Munir's visit?

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai had earlier described Munir's visit as part of the 'very good and special relations' between Iran and Pakistan. Baghai had said in a press conference before Munir's arrival in Tehran that bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan are currently at their best. Both countries are committed to continuously strengthening these relations in every field.

Pakistan has already tried to hold talks between America and Iran during the conflict in West Asia. This also included efforts to reach an interim understanding between the two countries in June. However, this attempt later failed. When Baghai was asked whether Munir's visit was linked to Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi's visit to Tehran, he said there was no connection between the two visits. Both the tours are happening at just the same time.

Al Busaidi is scheduled to visit Iran on Tuesday. He will hold talks with Iranian officials. During this, issues to relations between the two countries, regional security and the Strait of Hormuz are expected to be discussed. The issue of maritime traffic may also be included in the talks. Munir's visit to Tehran comes at a time when Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey signed the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement on August 7. Under this agreement, an armed attack on any one of the three countries will be considered an attack on the other two countries as well.

He described Iran as a country which is getting trapped in the cycle of economic and military death. Trump also targeted the Democrats. Trump wrote, Radical leftist Democrats are going crazy over fake surveys. They are releasing these at a scale never seen before. These are called 'demoralizing campaigns'. In this they try to demoralize the Republicans, so that they do not come out to vote. But the real surveys are very good. There has never been so much enthusiasm in our country before. We are winning against everyone. Iran is also included in this. Iran is currently in an economic and military death spiral.

What did China say on America's threat to countries?

At the same time, China said on Monday that imposing sanctions and creating additional pressure 'will not help in resolving the matter'. The US has also threatened to impose new sanctions on countries doing business with Iran.

China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said this in the daily press briefing in Beijing. He said, this will further increase the tension and worsen the situation.
