Singapore, ranked the world’s second-richest country by GDP per capita in 2025, seeks to make travel and immigration processes more seamless, convenient and user-friendly for travelers.
ICA said passport scan autofill is currently available only to foreign travelers.
Under the enhanced system, the feature will also be extended to Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders, in addition to the existing Singpass information retrieval option, The Straits Times reported.
The Singapore Arrival Card is a mandatory health declaration that all travelers must submit before arriving in Singapore, except those transiting without seeking immigration clearance and residents travelling through the Woodlands and Tuas land checkpoints.
