Imran Khan: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan once again expressed concern about the health condition of former England captain Michael Atherton. Explaining his reasons for writing the letter in a podcast, Atherton said he and Nasir Hussain were among 21 former captains who sent the second letter. He claimed that it was a humanitarian appeal for Imran, to give him proper treatment. In Atherton’s words, the Pakistani government almost tried to eliminate Imran.
