New Nothing OS 5.0 : Nothing has introduced the new Nothing OS 5.0 for its Smartphones. The company's new Android 17 is based on User Interface and more than 80 changes have been made in it. New personalization options, better performance and AI tools have been included in the new update along with design changes. The company has also announced the launch of Open Beta Program of Nothing OS 5.0. First of all, its beta update will be available to Nothing Phone (3).

Update on 26th August
Nothing Phone (3) will start receiving the Nothing OS 5.0 open beta on August 26 at 3:30 PM ET, with a stable update planned for mid-October.

September update
After this, the phone (4A) Pro will get beta in early September. The Phone (4A), Phone (3A) Pro and Phone (3A) will receive the beta update in late September and the stable update for these four models will arrive in early November.

October update
The Phone (2A) and Phone (2A) Plus will get a beta update in mid-October and a stable update in mid-November.

given a new design

Eligible smartphones with Nothing OS 5.0 will upgrade to Android 17. In this, the icons of apps, settings, camera, gallery and status bar have been given a new design.
Transparent details have been added to the widget and search bar, giving a more immersive look to the screen.

Can add tint to widget
The new Adaptive Color system can add tints to app icons and widgets by taking shades from the home screen's wallpaper. The new OS also gets the Guist typeface, changes to the system text size, and two new lock screen clock faces named Gooey and Micrographics.
