Six people were killed in a devastating road accident in Telangana’s Suryapet district on Tuesday after the vehicle in which they were travelling was involved in a major collision.
The accident occurred in the district under circumstances that are being investigated by the police. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving several occupants dead at the scene.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and launched rescue operations. The bodies of the victims were recovered and sent for post-mortem examination.
The identities of the deceased were being verified and their families informed. Authorities are also examining the damaged vehicles and gathering evidence to determine the precise cause of the accident.

The tragedy has once again highlighted concerns over road safety on highways and major roads, where high-speed movement, fatigue and reckless driving continue to contribute to fatal accidents.
