Krystle D’Souza has quietly made it far on The Traitors Season 2 without drawing much attention to her game, and it’s now caught host Karan Johar’s eye.
In the latest episode, the 54-year-old host praised her strategy, saying, “You have played very, very smart game,” pointing out how she’s managed to make key moves without giving herself away.
Krystle has not tried to dominate conversations, instead, she stayed observant, tracked where suspicion was heading, and stepped in only when it mattered.
Playing a Traitor means staying a step ahead at all times, steering Innocents in the wrong direction while avoiding suspicion herself.
Krystle has handled that by staying calm and picking her moments carefully.
One key example came during the ‘Circle of Shaq’, when suspicion turned toward her close friend Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle didn’t step in to redirect it, letting the heat stay off herself instead.
Her game shifted after fellow Traitor Shahneel Gill was caught and eliminated by the Innocents.
Left as the only Traitor, Krystle got to recruit a replacement and chose Rida Tharana, who had been actively trying to expose the Traitors, turning a potential threat into an ally.
In a separate, candid moment, Mallika Sherawat opened up about a heart-to-heart she’d had with Shahneel before her elimination.
The Murder actress said, “I asked Shahneel, ‘If you turn out to be a traitor, even just as a joke, the way I tease Ansh, my heart would break; you’ve become like a sister to me.’ She told me she isn’t a traitor because her brother is a cricket captain.”
She added, “I also asked her about Rhea, saying I was a bit suspicious of her because she keeps going in circles with the same points. Shahneel said the same logic applies to Rhea: since the whole world already views her as a traitor, she has come here to fix her image.”
