Tezzbuzz Desk – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now preparing to increase its focus on Gen-Z i.e. the new young generation. Party President Nitin Nabin has called an important meeting of youth leaders to discuss the issues of youth, their changing thinking and current challenges. This meeting will be held on August 29 at 10 am at the BJP headquarters.
45 leaders were invited
According to party sources, about 45 youth leaders from across the country have been called in the meeting. 2 to 3 leaders have been invited from every state. These include Union Ministers, MPs, former MPs, former ministers, MLAs and leaders holding ministerial posts in states.
The party has included such leaders in the meeting, who have good hold and appeal among the youth. Besides, such leaders have also been called who have a better understanding of youth issues and who have the ability to influence the new generation.
Which leaders will be included?
Many leaders including former Union Minister and BJP Yuva Morcha President Anurag Thakur, Union Minister Kamlesh Paswan, Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan, BJP General Secretary Harish Dwivedi, Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse, former MP Poonam Mahajan, former Maharashtra Minister Pankaja Munde, Bengaluru South MP Tejashwi Surya and Darjeeling MP Raju Bisht have been called in the meeting.
In the meeting, along with understanding the current mood of the youth of the country, their major challenges and their solutions will be discussed. The party will try to understand what issues Gen-Z gives priority to and what should be the way to communicate with them.
Emphasis on connecting the new generation with the party
Recently a new executive of BJP has been formed. After this, the party is placing special emphasis on connecting the youth with its programs and campaigns.
BJP aims to connect the youth with the policies of the party and the schemes and functioning of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting of youth leaders is being considered an important part of this strategy.
