Shamli. Haryanvi singer Ankit Balyan was murdered on 26 August. Two accused of Ankit's murder were killed by Shamli Police of UP in an encounter in the early hours of Monday. The names of the killed accused are Mohit and Sumit. According to the police, both were residents of Haryana and were associated with Gogi gang. Police are now searching for two more accused Aryan and Satyam in the murder of Ankit Baliyan. A photo was taken of both of them while riding a bike.
Shamli SP Narendra Pratap Singh said that after the murder of Ankit Baliyan, the SWAT team of the district police, surveillance unit, all SHOs, ASP and CO City were deployed in search of the attackers. SP said that he had blocked the district from midnight to 6 am. So that no one can enter the vehicle without checking. SP said that at 4 am on Monday, SHO of Hijana police station Virendra Kasana, while checking, saw a bike coming from Karnal. He tried to stop two people riding a bike. On which he opened fire.
SP Narendra Pratap Singh said that the bullet fired by the miscreants hit the SHO's car. When the miscreants ran ahead, the SHO of Hijana gave information on wireless. By that time the miscreants had turned towards Kairana. When they reached under the Manna Madra bridge, the team of SHO Dharmendra Gautam of Shamli Kotwali police station was deployed there. He also tried to stop the miscreants. There also the miscreants opened fire and ran towards the city, but the police challenged them and retaliated. In which both the accused of murder of Ankit Baliyan were killed. Shamli police was working day and night to search for the killers of Ankit Baliyan. Ankit's wife had even said that if her husband's murderers were not killed, she would commit suicide along with her family members.
