On this auspicious occasion, installing a new picture or statue of Lord Shri Krishna in the house is considered extremely fruitful. According to religious beliefs, bringing Kanha's picture into the house brings happiness and positivity. However, according to Vastu Shastra, it is very important to keep in mind some rules while placing the picture of Shri Krishna. By not choosing the right form and right direction, one cannot get the full results of the puja and mistakes made unknowingly can affect the atmosphere of the house.

Kanha's form with cows for prosperity

If you wish for wealth, happiness and stability in your home, then according to Vastu, placing a picture of Lord Shri Krishna with cows is considered most auspicious. This form symbolizes balance in parenting and life.
Keep in mind that the picture frame should be absolutely clean and the wall should be strong. One should avoid placing old or crooked photographs in the house. By regularly cleaning this picture, positive energy remains in the wealth space of the house.

Right and auspicious direction of placing the photo

According to the rules of Vastu Shastra, north-east (northeast) direction is considered best for placing the picture of Lord Krishna, because God and positive energy reside in this direction. Apart from this, the east or north facing wall is also suitable for placing photographs.
Hang the picture on the wall at such a height that it is at the viewer's eye level; do not hang it too high or too low near the floor. There should not be any kind of dampness or wear and tear on the wall where the picture is being pasted.

Rule of Radha-Krishna photo in bedroom

To maintain love and sweetness in the relationship between husband and wife, it is considered good to put a picture of Radha-Krishna in the bedroom. For this, the north-west facing wall is best. However, it is important to keep in mind that the picture should not be placed exactly towards the headboard or feet of the bed. Also, any kind of war or angry pictures should not be kept in the bedroom and one should avoid placing the picture right in front of the mirror. In Vastu, south direction is considered to be the direction of ancestors, hence placing the picture of Lord Shri Krishna in this direction should be completely avoided. By doing this there is a possibility of negative energy increasing in the house. Apart from this, do not put the picture of God just above the toilet, kitchen or at very low places.
