Tamannaah Bhatia The Van teaser: The teaser of Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra and actress Tamannaah Bhatia’s upcoming fantasy-thriller film ‘The Van – Force of Forest’ has come into discussion as soon as it was released. Made under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures, the teaser of this film takes the audience into the world of a mysterious folklore and ancient powers. Now the makers of the film have revealed that the roots of this interesting story are linked to the 16th century historical and mysterious ‘Maa Van Devi Temple’ located near Patna, the capital of Bihar.

Where did ‘Panchayat’ director and TVF’s Arunabh get the idea from?

The film has been directed by the famous web series ‘Panchayat’ fame director Deepak Mishra, while the story has been written by ‘The Viral Fever’ (TVF) founder Arunabh Kumar. Ekta Kapoor and Arunabh Kumar are together producing this big project.

In an interview, Arunabh Kumar told that he got the idea of ​​this film from the Van Devi Temple located near Patna and the folk tales prevalent there. He told, “I had long conversations with the local priests and villagers. There is a belief about this temple, built around the 16th century, and the surrounding forests, that some supernatural powers were active there. There was a strict prohibition on going into the forest after sunset. Two years ago, when I told this to Deepak Mishra, we both were very thrilled. After this we went to Ekta Kapoor and she immediately said that this story is worthy of coming on the big screen.”

Director Deepak Mishra said that it was not easy to bring this fabric of Indian folklore and fantasy alive on screen. It was not possible to show that magical and creepy atmosphere through normal shooting, so the team has created the imaginary world of ‘The One’ with the help of high-end animation, VFX and special effects. This film will hit the theaters on September 25. Apart from Siddharth and Tamanna, Sunil Grover, Manish Paul, Ajay Raju and Anoop Soni will also be seen in important roles in the film.

Situated amidst dense forests on the border of Amhara, Raghopur and Kanchanpur villages near Bihta, about 35 kilometers from Patna, this Siddhapeeth is believed to be about 350 to 400 years old.
