Haryana News: The government is ready to bring these employees under the ambit of the Haryana Contractual Employees (Ensurement of Service) Act, 2024 so that these employees can also be provided almost the same benefits as the regular employees. This will also ensure service to these employees for 60 years. Apart from this, it is also ready to give monthly risk allowance of ₹ 2,000/- to these employees.
Taking one step further, the government is ready to give 15 percent more amount in their monthly salary in addition to the eligibility under the said Act, 2024.
Under the said Act, 2024, these employees will get other benefits such as annual dearness allowance, death-cum-retirement gratuity, maternity leave facility and ex-gratia under HKRNL.
Financial assistance amount and ex-gratia appointment etc. will also be available.
Therefore, as per the above, the monthly dues of sanitation workers working on the municipal roll for more than 10 years will be ₹ 25,560/- (₹ 21,970/- salary, ₹ 2,000/- risk allowance and ₹ 1,590/- other allowances).
