Tourist spending climbed 7.8% to a record €82.05 billion (US$95 billion) during the January-July period, according to data published by Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE).
The United Kingdom, France and Germany remained Spain’s largest source markets, sending 11.5 million, 7.2 million and 6.9 million visitors, respectively, EuroNews reported.

Arrivals from the U.K. rose 4.6%, while those from France increased 1.2%. German visitor numbers, however, edged down 0.5%.
Italy recorded the strongest percentage growth among the major markets, with 3.5 million tourists visiting Spain, up 10.3% year on year.
Four to seven nights was the most common length of stay, accounting for 5.7 million international tourists, an 8.7% increase from a year earlier.
Nearly 8.5 million visitors traveled independently without a package tour, compared with 3.1 million who booked package holidays.
Accommodation represented the largest share of tourist spending at 19.8%, followed by package tours at 19.3% and international transport at 19.2%.
Spain expects to welcome 100 million tourists this year after receiving a record 97 million visitors in 2025.
